Inventors from Texas Create a Magic Wand That Cures Wine Hangovers

We’ve talked about many products and even beverages that promise to either cure or prevent us drinkers from the dreaded hangover, but now, inventors from Texas have created a magic wand that promises to do so.
The product is called The Wand, and its goal is to alleviate the sign affects and unpleasantries that follow after a night of over-consumption. David and Derek Meadows, the father-son team that invented the contraption, explain that it works by removing the sulfites and histamines in the wine.
Derek Meadows holds a PHD in chemical engineering, and it’s explained on The Wand’s website that histamines are an inherent component in wine that can cause allergic reactions. Sulfites are added to wine to make it last longer, and they can cause reactions related to hangovers like the dreaded wine headache.
The creators of the wand believe these components of wine are unnecessary, so swirling The Wand around your glass and leaving it there for 3 minutes gets rid of them using ionic exchange resin beads and other factors. The product also aerates the wine and maintains all of its good flavor.
The Wand is currently available in some stores for $2, but you can also buy it online here. The creators encourage you to only use each wand once, because it loses its effectiveness after multiple uses. The magical device also works on any type of wine.
